Jim's Polaroids

Name: Jim
Location: British Columbia, Canada

Born and bred on the West Coast, Jim met his first Polaroid while attending University in Seattle. Facinated by the fact that this miracle of engineering was only one dollar, he picked it up, bought a pack of film, and fell in love with the process of instant pictures. Check out his Polaroid camera site at polaroids.theskeltons.org.

Stories about your Polaroid

Got a story? Share a story.

Remember when your Uncle got out his Polaroid camera, attached the flash unit, popped in a flashbulb, pointed it your direction and snapped the picture? You could feel the warmth of the flash, followed by spots in the eyes. Then he pulled one tab out and we gathered around. He pulled the second tab and the anticipation mounted. And there was always delight when he peeled the picture apart and there you were. The magic of Polaroid demonstrated again...

Feel free to leave your story here.

How Much is my Polaroid worth??

This is a common question I frequently receive on my website. I've posted my opinion at http://polaroids.theskeltons.org/value.htm --the news isn't really good, but that only reflects monetory value! Polaroid cameras are worth much more in the memories they created. Feel free to leave comments on the value of your old Polaroid camera here.

Got Polaroid?

Welcome to Jim's Polaroids!

This site is an extension of my Polaroid site at http://polaroids.theskeltons.org to discuss anything Polaroid. I'll be monitoring this site and answering questions as they come up. So I'd invite you to leave comments, helpful information, or questions about your Polaroid here.
