Stories about your Polaroid

Remember when your Uncle got out his Polaroid camera, attached the flash unit, popped in a flashbulb, pointed it your direction and snapped the picture? You could feel the warmth of the flash, followed by spots in the eyes. Then he pulled one tab out and we gathered around. He pulled the second tab and the anticipation mounted. And there was always delight when he peeled the picture apart and there you were. The magic of Polaroid demonstrated again...

Hi Jim,
Pictures in a Minute was a popular "must read" for Polaroid roll film camera users.
I'm not familiar with the magazine, but it would probably be a pre-1963 one, since it's dealing with roll film cameras.
Hi Jim-
Cool page about the Polaroids.
My dad was on the original development team for the SX70. He was hired out of college here in MA to work (I believe) in the film division. I have tons of memories of being chased around the house by my dad and having to endure having my picture taken. I have a bunch of SX70s around, including what I think are prototypes and customs (including a few with his name ingraved in them!)
Thanks for the memories!
