You could feel the warmth of the flash, followed by spots in the eyes. Then he pulled one tab out and we gathered around. He pulled the second tab and the anticipation mounted. And there was always delight when he peeled the picture apart and there you were. Polaroid cameras are worth much more in the memories they created.
